I once got frustrated behind a slow driver on a rainy highway.

I had been trying to pass for several minutes. The car in front of me would not speed up and there was no safe opening. I could feel the impatience building. I just wanted to get around him and move on.

Finally the lanes opened and I crossed ahead. The rain was heavy and visibility was low. Seconds later, I saw the cars ahead hit a deep sheet of water. One hydroplaned, spun, and slammed into the retaining wall. Another lost control right in front of me. When I reached the same spot, my tires slipped too. But because of the distance and timing, I was able to recover.

Two cars crashed. I didn’t.

And the only reason I wasn’t there sooner… was the driver I had been frustrated with minutes before.

Paulo Coelho wrote in The Alchemist that the universe conspires in your favor. Most people imagine that as doors opening. Promotions. Opportunities. Wins.

But sometimes the conspiracy looks like delay.

Like inconvenience.
Like the person who slows you down.
Like the light that refuses to turn green.
Like the moment that does not unfold the way you wanted.

We see interruption. God sees protection.

In Doctrine and Covenants 122:7, it says, “All these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good.”

Not some things. All things.

Even the delays. Even the frustrations. Even the moments that make no sense while you are inside them.

C.S. Lewis once wrote, “God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains.” Sometimes He also guides us in silence, through timing we do not understand.

How many times have you arrived late and later discovered there was an accident ahead. How many times did something fall apart, only to realize later it quietly saved you.

What you call delay, heaven may call positioning.

What you call inconvenience, heaven may call intervention.

Maybe God is not blocking your path. Maybe He is adjusting your timing.

Because His greatest conspiracy is not to make your life easier. It is to bring you safely home.

Not just to your house at the end of the day.

But to Him in our Celestial home.

Había intentado rebasarlo por varios minutos. El carro frente a mí no aceleraba y no había una apertura segura. Sentía la impaciencia crecer. Solo quería pasarlo y seguir adelante.

Finalmente los carriles se abrieron y pasé al frente. La lluvia era intensa y la visibilidad era baja. Segundos después, vi a los carros delante entrar en una profunda capa de agua. Uno hizo hidroplaneo, giró y se estrelló contra el muro de contención. Otro perdió el control justo frente a mí. Cuando llegué al mismo punto, mis llantas también resbalaron. Pero por la distancia y el momento, pude corregir y recuperar el control.

Dos carros chocaron. Yo no.

Y la única razón por la que no estuve allí antes… fue el conductor del que me había frustrado minutos antes.

Paulo Coelho escribió en El Alquimista que el universo conspira a tu favor. La mayoría de las personas imagina que eso se ve como puertas que se abren. Ascensos. Oportunidades. Victorias.

Pero a veces la conspiración se ve como retraso.

Como inconveniencia.
Como la persona que te hace ir más despacio.
Como el semáforo que se niega a cambiar.
Como el momento que no sucede como tú querías.

Nosotros vemos interrupción. Dios ve protección.

En Doctrina y Convenios 122:7 dice: “Todas estas cosas te darán experiencia, y serán para tu bien.”

No algunas cosas. Todas las cosas.

Incluso los retrasos. Incluso las frustraciones. Incluso los momentos que no tienen sentido mientras los estás viviendo.

C.S. Lewis escribió: “Dios nos susurra en nuestros placeres, habla en nuestra conciencia, pero grita en nuestros dolores.” Y a veces también nos guía en silencio, a través de un tiempo que no entendemos.

¿Cuántas veces has llegado tarde y después descubriste que hubo un accidente más adelante? ¿Cuántas veces algo no funcionó, solo para darte cuenta después de que silenciosamente te protegió?

Lo que tú llamas retraso, el cielo puede llamarlo posicionamiento.

Lo que tú llamas inconveniencia, el cielo puede llamarlo intervención.

Tal vez Dios no está bloqueando tu camino. Tal vez está ajustando tu tiempo.

Porque Su mayor conspiración no es hacer tu vida más fácil.

Es llevarte a salvo a casa.

No solo a tu casa al final del día.

Sino a Él, en nuestro hogar Celestial.

Have you ever seen a movie and then gone back with someone who had never seen it, just to accompany them?

As you sat there beside them, you already knew about that scene where something was going to happen that made everyone jump in their seat. You knew how the story unfolded and eventually how it ended. Nothing surprised you. You could feel the anxiety of your friend as the tension built, but you remained calm, because you knew everything was going to be okay.

In Abraham 2:8, Christ says:

“My name is Jehovah, and I know the end from the beginning; therefore my hand shall be over thee.”

This means God sees our entire life from beginning to end at once.

• your past
• your present
• your future
• your struggles
• your victories
• the person you are becoming

“Therefore my hand shall be over thee.”

Once we understand this last part, we realize that God knows our life. He knows our crossroads, our trials and tribulations, our wins and our losses. He protects us. He guides us. And sometimes His help may go unnoticed by us.

We go through hardships and disappointments and wonder why certain things happen. But He allows us to experience these moments because they are part of our spiritual and character growth.

He already knows our future. So when something is taken away from us, or when doors begin to close, we can remember that He does not intend for us to fail. He sees the future healed version of us. He sees our strength, our success, and our triumphs.

Nothing in your life is random. Nothing is wasted. The people who cross your path, the relationships you experience, and even the ones you leave behind all serve a purpose.

You may be living in a moment that feels uncertain, painful, or unclear. And even when it is hard to move forward because you cannot see what lies ahead, He can.

His hand is over you. He is watching. He is guiding. And because He knows the end from the beginning, you can move forward with faith, trusting that every step is leading you exactly where you are meant to be.

¿Alguna vez has visto una película y luego has regresado a verla con alguien que nunca la había visto, solo para acompañarlo?

Mientras estabas sentado a su lado, tú ya sabías que venía esa escena donde algo iba a suceder que haría que todos saltaran de su asiento. Sabías cómo se desarrollaba la historia y cómo eventualmente terminaba. Nada te sorprendía. Podías sentir la ansiedad de tu amigo a medida que la tensión aumentaba, pero tú permanecías tranquilo, porque sabías que todo iba a estar bien.

Esto significa que Dios ve toda nuestra vida, desde el principio hasta el fin, al mismo tiempo.

• tus victorias
• la persona en la que te estás convirtiendo

“Por tanto, mi mano estará sobre ti.”

Cuando entendemos esta última parte, nos damos cuenta de que Dios conoce nuestra vida. Él conoce nuestras encrucijadas, nuestras pruebas y tribulaciones, nuestras victorias y nuestras pérdidas. Él nos protege. Él nos guía. Y muchas veces, Su ayuda puede pasar desapercibida para nosotros.

Pasamos por dificultades y decepciones y nos preguntamos por qué suceden ciertas cosas. Pero Él permite que vivamos estos momentos porque forman parte de nuestro crecimiento espiritual y de nuestro carácter.

Él ya conoce nuestro futuro. Así que cuando algo nos es quitado, o cuando puertas comienzan a cerrarse, podemos recordar que Él no quiere que fracasemos. Él ve la versión sanada de nosotros. Él ve nuestra fortaleza, nuestro éxito y nuestros triunfos.

Nada en tu vida es al azar. Nada se desperdicia. Las personas que cruzan tu camino, las relaciones que tienes, e incluso las que dejas atrás, tienen un propósito.

Puede que estés viviendo un momento que se siente incierto, doloroso o confuso. Y aunque sea difícil avanzar porque no puedes ver lo que está por delante, Él sí puede.

Su mano está sobre ti. Él te está observando. Él te está guiando. Y porque Él conoce el fin desde el principio, puedes avanzar con fe, confiando en que cada paso te está llevando exactamente a donde debes estar.
